Does any body know in April  67 when you got floor mounted shifter at no charge for your manual 3 speed transmission (part of Pacesetter sale) if you got the heavy duty 3 speed trans or if they put floor shift on # 3858986 Saginaw standard trans?

also date on pro-tec-to plate is 5-26-68 car was built 3rd week of May.  I don't think a car could be bought in Virginia and built in Ohio on same week, oh and 5-26-68 was a Sunday dealer was not open on Sunday

Keep the six in it!  They run forever get better fuel mileage and most of all the car has a six cylinder vin.

I have had both V8 and 6 banger, 6 banger is much more reliable and seems to ride at bit better, but that could just be the fact that the v8 suspension was beat on a lot more. I am one of the few people that is restoring a 6 cylinder to number 1 show car condition, it is a completely front to back numbers matching convertible so I figure that I have to!
24  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: 67 Z28 sold at auction last weekend? on: October 30, 2013, 05:10:46 AM
All the classic car price guides that I have seen always show 67 Z's worth Much more than 68 or 69.
