« on: March 23, 2018, 11:14:36 PM »
I have seen this exact fuel cap on many 67 & 68 Camaro’s, even in vintage photos of cars when they were new. Is this fuel cap a GM part?

General Discussion / Camaro’s going over seas?
« on: March 10, 2018, 01:21:38 PM »
I have notice when I go to a car show anywhere in the USA there are less and less first gen Camaro’s ever year.

However go to one in England, Germany, or Australia and they are popping up everywhere. I am just wondering why.....the ones I have seen that are in other countries are still left hand drive with regular trim tags. Any clues on what is causing the shift?

« on: August 24, 2017, 01:05:32 PM »
Would anybody know if all early non SS or Z28 cars in 67 left the factory with 14x5 steel rims or what date did they switch to 14x6 rims? I am trying to go completely factory in every detail and I bought car 26 years ago and it had 14x6 steel rims on it, however acrroding to my research they should be 14x5 rims (car is 04A 67 build date).

Are any members near by  Clarence Iowa?
There is a 67 convertible there that I am very interested in and would like to buy if I could find somebody to put there eyes on it. The car appears to be super solid with all original panels. Although it's hard to tell from  the pictures.

General Discussion / door Jamb embossment
« on: September 11, 2016, 07:47:21 PM »
would anybody know what month the factory changed the rear quarter door jamb embossment in a production 67 from the telephone shape to the two part embossment (which looks like a 68's without the vent). I have heard that the late 67's were different. All the quarter panels that I have seen even the old NOS ones have later style shape.  Dose anybody reproduce the first design?
