Does anyone know on a 707 yellow interior for a 67 is the dash & carpet gold or black?
Also the interior paint on the metal section on top of the door panels are painted yellow....is this only color interior for 67 that have the interior painted with 2 different paint colors?

It was a dealer in Salamanca NY.

What looks like a very original 67 tag has option for power top in group 2 instead of group 1? Is this a factory mistake?  I have  picture of tag...just can’t seem to post it...I can send picture to someone if they want to post it.

General Discussion / 67 and 68 gauge lens

I just noticed that other 67 & 68 Camaro’s have a chrome ring around the plastic lens for the speedometer and fuel or tach gauges? Mine does not have this chrome ring on the Clear plastic lens....I do have the chrome ring around the housing itself but no evidence of it being on the clear lens covering gauges?  Has mine just worn off or was it a change.

My original plastic dash gauge bezel has the chrome trim rings ...the chrome is faded and worn however there are no cracks or scratches in bezel.
I have heard that the aftermarket chrome stick on pieces don’t work well....does anybody have experience with them or should I buy a new aftermarket complete bezel?
I can’t seem to find a good original one that is crack free.

Would anybody have a picture that they could post of the correct original envelope that held the protector plate and warranty info book that came in a 67  ....I have an original however I am not sure if it’s correct for a 67.

I can’t seem to find part #3897317 anywhere I have been searching for awhile, it’s a bracket that holds the back up switch on 67 & 68 with Saginaw 3 or 4 speed manual transmissions. (Not the same as Muncie bracket).
Does anybody know if there is a part number that superseded this one?

Has anybody here ever re-bent a mono spring?
I have reproduction mono’s on the car as of now and the ride hight is perfect......however I would like to put my originals back on because they look factory and I want only original GM parts on this car.  My plan is to have this car being judged at the highest level.

Fortunately I started buying parts 26 years ago and the car had most of its original parts when I bought it.

I have the original rear bumper it was rechromed. Hartbeet amoung others sell the rivets to attach the center bracket back on.....does anybody know how it install the factory style rivets?
