Anyone have the ebay listing. That's way too cheap if it was real.

Jon,

The traction arm body mounts look opposite hand. Is the left side a Firebird bracket?

No doubt that Mike's attention to detail is incredible. If he can work that magic with something so small, just think what he would do with a full scale model.

There is a lot to like about that video. Rumble seat AMX Pacecar?

Duh...thanks for correcting that Kurt. I was thinking J56, but it didn't come out that way.

Quite a bit of NASCAR heritage in that race.

These brake shoes are 67 Z-28 specific and were not available for other models. They were not part of the 69 option list, although you could still get them over th counter.

Interesting reference to the "Super Scoop" hood.

Pretty amazing insight by Jerry Titus. Reminds me of a story I heard about Mario Andretti telling his pit crew a tire was - 1/4 pound low; turned out to be his handling problem, and he went on to win.
224  Model Specific Discussions / Trans-Am Camaros / Re: Don Yenko and the Yenko Stormer Camaro on: September 03, 2012, 10:56:40 PM
That's what I remember too. And I agree, I think there was only one press car, despite the two license plates. The reason I asked was wondering if Don may have gotten a pilot car and not a COPO per say. Probably no way of knowing, just wondering out loud.

There are people out there stamping repros. I am not saying that is a bad thing, but you shouldn't pay NOS prices for them.
