61  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: Fuel Filter Canister Clamp - SB BB, same? on: July 28, 2011, 04:00:36 PM
So there must be a bolt hole mount that's works the same for both. Where does it mount on the SB? Intake manifold bolt?
62  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Fuel Filter Canister Clamp - SB BB, same? on: July 28, 2011, 03:08:13 PM
Made for both small block and big block engines?  Was it the same part#?

Heartbeat City says "Camaro fuel filter canister clamp. This clamp is used on all 350/255hp, 350/300hp, 396/325hp, 396/350hp engines with Quadrajet carburetor and vapor return line."

I thought they would be different.
63  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Correct SB starter brace / Flywheel size? on: July 28, 2011, 02:31:50 PM
Hi Guys, I've got a 350/300hp, with M-20 4 speed. What would the original (stock) size flywheel be for that?

Bought a repro Starter Brace that's doesn't fit. About an inch too long. Starter Brace description says, "Small Block for cars with 12 3/4" Flywheel."

Any help with that?

I'm thinking I agree. Thanks much...

Hey guys, again thank for the info, but further confusion ensues. Earlier thread suggested Heartbeat City as correct repro, and another from Classic Muscle. Both have very good reputations for accuracy, but their photos of the products differ.

(See photos note number of bends in rod.)

What would you suggest?

Great info, thanks to all! I'm already seeing what I had wanted to see. Hopefully all will get this reply, as I'm still becoming familiar with the forum.

Anybody know of any good pictorial sources for how the throttle linkage would be set up for a '69 Camaro, 350/300hp, Quad 4MV, 4 speed manual? (Cowl Induction)

I'm doing a engine restoration and have all the correct parts, but not sure exactly how it's configured. Correct restoration photos or original GM diagrams would be great. Specifics like:  should the throttle rod be straight (as delivered repro), or does it require a bend to miss brake booster line?  Also, the carb return spring proper location tie to the coil mount somewhere, or in the eye-hole on the thermostat housing?

Thanks...
