Thanks for the heads-up. I'll have to keep an eye out for that on the newsstand.

Gary is a great guy and a friend of mine... and he's even owned a few Chevys.   Grin

Indeed!

Just FYI-The #57 Z/28 TA racer is back on ebay, this time with no BIN.  Someone rescue her from auction/ebay hell and get her on the track.

Thanks John,
We're working on a 55' Ford truck that will look like the So-cal Speed shop push truck when done.  Even I'm excited about that one.  We are also fixing up a single axle trailer to pull our Model T Ford racer behind it! The kids really take an interest when we build something special so that's what we do.  I need to find time to update the website.  Are you still going to sell your Camaro?

Mike

AMC has a forum...wow, this new interweb thing has everything!

My Camaro isn't officially for sale but...  There was a few guys looking at it last year that might still be interested but I don't have any real desire to sell it, I'll likely enter her in Sonoma and Monterey.

Neat story, love the period color photo's.  Thanks for posting!

I already have a perfectly good Camaro. Cool

It's a shame about the auto meter gauges & other modern pieces.  As pretty as she is and unless anything has changed since the last auction block crossing, it's a long way from being properly set up to vintage race.  I was a bidder but it went for more than I was wiling to pay for it.

Would love to see it back on the track.

Just AS, no TA history right?  Beautiful restoration and very cool car.

Lots of good parts and pieces, but where is the fuel cell? Can't race it without a cell unless some vintage groups allow it.

Robert Barg

Fun car to open track, very nicely done, as always, by McGee (they maintain my car) but it's not going to get into any top tier events due to it's lack of period history...and fuel cell.

I have decided to put my TA Camaro up for sale..something else followed me home and I just can't keep them all.  If anyone wanted to get involved with the BEST vintage racing group, you can't beat the HTA group.
