Well, now you can find out EXACTLY what dealer your car was delivered to!

Starting in mid April, 2014, the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) will now be able to tell you the dealer code, dealer name, dealer location and the production date your car (1965 through 1972 for Camaro, Chevelle and Nova) was produced!

Now you can have the same information that was previously only available to 1962-1975 Corvettes. Armed with this data, you may be able to find the original dealer where your car was shipped, and possibly find out more information about your Chevrolet.

The Shipping Data Report can only be ordered online but membership in NCRS is NOT required. Fees will be $50 payable by credit card or PayPal and you will receive via USPS a letter with the information which includes the NCRS official seal. Note that in limited cases the dealer code may not be available or readable, and in this case a full refund will be made.

Ed, Thanks for posting this "long awaited" info on our first Generation Camaros.  I've waited for something like this to be available over the years.  A lot of the Camaro Guru's will jump on this come April.  I know I'll be signing up.  Thanks to all who made this happen!!  Don

Hi Everyone!!  Got a question for you Camaro Gurus.  On the hood hinges, there is a large "rivet" that connects the pieces of hinge together.  On the "rivet" is a letter "K" that is stamped on it.  Does anyone know what this stands for???  Mfg. Co.  ()  thanks!

I find this interesting..your the first to chime in on those tires.  I wonder if anyone has issues with the Firestone "Wide-O-Oval" tires.  I see alot of these on 69 Camaros. Does your car "wander" like mine, left to right, right to left?  Anyone out there having similiar issues with these tires please voice your facts.  thanks!  Don

I have the repro Firestone sports car 200 tires on my car. They ride like shit!

Jeff, Where would you set the alignment at on my car ?  Alot of guys suggesting   1/8 toe in.  What are your final thoughts on this issue??  Don

I put the girl to bed for the season...

I hear ya.  They salted the roads here yesterday morning - I couldn't believe it.  This weekend is supposed to be in the 50's and I wanted to go for one last cruise.  Oh well.

Let us know what you find - and make sure to settle the suspension before checking the alignment.  You could actually loosen all the bolts now, bounce it up & down several times, then let it sit for the off season before tightening the bolts.

Jeff, Hey..hi there!  No, I did not check car's alignment.  I put the girl to bed for the season and its all zipped up in one of those "Car Jackets" I recently bought.  But yes, this will be on my hit list for the spring.  Car wants to fly but
there is to much wander at "high speeds".  I will post my findings and result here for everyone to see and chime in if they would like too.  Thanks to all of you for your helpful comments and advice...Don

Did you ever get a chance to check your current alignment specs?  I'd hate to see you change tires when all you needed to do was 'dial-in' the alignment.

Hi Guys!!!  Question:  Is anyone out there running "Firestone Sport Car 200" tires??  If anyone is, do they wander like the Goodyears do??  I'm just trying to get some feedback on these (firestones) before I go and dive into a different set-up on my front end, that has been suggested in previous CRG members replies.  Just want to say "thanks" for everyone's input on this matter.
