General Discussion / Dash Light illumination when starting engine
« on: January 20, 2013, 02:39:40 AM »
Hi Gang!!!  I'm new here so bear with me.  I own a 1969 Camaro SS/RS.  I've noticed other Camaros that when started, the generator and temperature dash lights come on when starting the engine.  My car has been re-stored and the lights are intact and have been tested  OK also.  Question: where do I started to look to correct this??  My car also has "console gauges".  I've seen cars with console gauges, and there cars dash lights, light up too.  Any help will be appreciated.  Thanks!!   Don

General Discussion / Clutch grind (reverse)
« on: July 14, 2012, 02:44:43 AM »
Hi Guys!  I own a 1969 Camaro SS 396/375 car with a 4-speed M-22.  Just finished a frame off restoration on it.  Ever since I statrted
driving it, when I try and use reverse, it grinds.  Adjusted clutch numerous times.  Last move is at 1/2' to 1' free play on pedal.  It also appears that when car get hot, grinding seems more apparent.   It's fine when car is cold.  Any advise would be helpful.

Hi!  I'm new here, so I hope I'm in the right page.  My question is, On your Engine application suffix codes.  States, "engine codes
reserved with the "MA-6" option, (heavy duty) clutch.  Says, (none known to have been produced.  I own a 1969 SS/RS 396/375,
4-speed, Camaro.    Block pad stamped "T-0215KC".  Doesn't this de-code as stated??  Please advise...thanks!!
