I haven't seen a Camaro special ordered Monza red from the factory. So that brings up a good question regarding his car: What percentage of the 69 Camaros were ordered with special paint, or stripe delete? ( I see on the CRG percentage by color, but not for special order)

Red is a great choice!  ::)
52 52 is Garnet Red, which was the brightest factory color red offered that year.
Of corse with -- (special paint) code you could go with any shade of red you  wanted and it would still be considered correct.

awesome, I look forward to seeing pics from your build. What are the options your car came with originally?

Hey welcome to the site!

IS your 69 a original export car? What does a first gen 69 like yours sell for over there? (In US dollars please) just curious.

What are your plans for the restoration? Stock? drag? auto cross?

Are you guys honestly surprised that they used a high output Hugger Orange car in their commercial?   What color did they use in their print ads?  :)

Often one hears 'think we should scrap it'..  when the color isn't orange..  :)

J/k..  :)

Actually they used a garnet red car for their handout (cowl hood no emblems chevrolet art department), and garnet red car for the ad "its got a mean streaK"   ;)

Tag shows it as a X33, probably right about the valve covers, if that carb stud gets any longer its going to go through the hood.

Hey good job on posting the pic. I haven't figured out how to post them that large yet. Looks like some very clean cars. Did you have yours there?

James I was unaware that there were 2 different head rests, when did they switch them?

Azure good eye with what you picked up, should this car have a short spoiler as well? ( if any at all)

Also looks like the hood was added on, just guessing since the wiring isn't hooked up to it.

Steve,  looks like a fine dry spot to keep the car, as long as the barn doesn't collapse.  I agree with Gary the 4 post lift work good for storage, and you can park another under it. I bet the car will look like a million bucks the day you roll it out and wash it off... :)

That must have been a very early 69 commercial, most of the 69 plates start with a Y or a Z. I do like the X77 package with the endura bumper.
