I believe the way it will work is>the more guys who post they are interested in purchasing a shirt(s), if there is a large enough order than one will get placed later in the year. SO everyone that is interested post how many shirts you want and what size(s), so Steve will be able to get a rough calculation when the time comes.

I saw all the possible add ons. I think the car will be very distinctive with the SS hood and no spoilers. Now a days I can't remember seeing a car without the cowl hood and spoilers. Seems every 69 is running them these days. I think the 14" wheels with the endura bumper, that car is going to be one of a kind, and I think it will send the message to enthusiasts "this is the way cars came back then". My car doesn't have console gauges, and I will never add them, so good for you.
I also think a neat touch would be to add some original dealer license frames to your car. If you don't know the dealer you can pay for that report that will be available pretty soon. A dealer sticker in the back window or a local race track decal in one of the quarter windows would be a nice touch, and an easy adder. If you wanted to add traction bars or anything else, I would just do it a piece at a time after you have the car all together, because each change will change the look of the car yet again.

Kurt yo have been a member of the CRG much longer than I have, and you hold the keys to the orphan section and posses a huge library of Vin numbers and motor stampings. I would hope you have seen many and continue to do so, and help with the putting people in touch with such info. Your service to our members doesn't go un-noticed.

I just don't subscribe to a one size fits alll repair.
I cater to each area , and replace as needed. It may not be as profitable as what you are accustomed to, but it doesn't cut unnecessarily into a nice car where unwarranted. It is on a as needed basis only. BUT if cutting every time gives you the warm fuzzies than ok.

I have had just as many experiences where I didn't need to cut out the metal in small areas, as I have needing to make the cut. You could get away with cutting out a small square of metal, stitching in a new piece and drilling a new hole, but before doing that I have had good luck using a mig to fill a couple of small holes.
Plus, if you have an area where a few pieces of metal come together and they are all spot welded together, it can be more of a process getting the small rusted piece out. Especially if it is in a tight spot like the picture shows. You may not have second thoughts about cutting into original metal, I try to save it as a last option.

I would say it is up to the guy doing the work. I don't think it is justified to start cutting out metal where you just have a few pin holes that appeared over the course of 40 years. I guess I am not for making a in depth repair to a very minuscule issue. I take each spot on a case by case basis.
I think the correct way CAN be to cut out the rotten metal and replace, but for a very small spot you may be doing more damage than good. IMO

SO out of thousands of Camaros, this could be the first I have heard of re-uniting the original motor with the Car after so many years apart.

You could definitely blow it out with air and wait a day or so , if you felt water would be trapped in there.
