Interesting, I had to go back and look at the other thread where you posted about your tires. Seems like it would have been easier to order a X77 car and add the items that you wanted. But every 69 came with the "Camaro" emblem so I guess he would had  to deal with that still. What year did he have that done?

ZLP (Tim) is correct, a lot of owners probably went to the dealer to add the trim that they liked though. I personally like the roof rail trim, and the tail light dividers, but not the wheel well moulding, or the simulated louvers. (I am probably in the minority)
My car is a X77 and is in stock configuration, and after looking at so many cars where items have been added , I really like that my car has survived without the common mods, but that is the great thing about this hobby you can put whatever you want on the car, the only critic you have to please is yourself! ;)

That was my issue even when it warms up its another summer of road repairs to all the pot holes and ruined asphalted from the freezing and thawing of water on the road. Whats worse is, in Indiana when they "repave" outside the city they just throw down a bunch of crushed rock and let all the cars drive on it to crush and compress it, which just throws a ton of rocks up to chip your paint, and the guy behind you. It seems so backwards to me. But the politics is backwards out here on the left coast, so I guess it all evens out...

Welcome to the CRG! Beautiful example, and good story. Are the stickers in the first pic significant? (on the mirror, and possibly upper rear quarter)

You say she left fingernail imprints on the seat, was that from a top speed on the track? mph?

Todays finds: The 1969 Camaro reference book, a nice find especially for me because of different notes the owner wrote down on pieces of paper and marked different pages with them. Again not a COPO find , but more notes from beyond the grave about a nice original car and paints a picture of how much pride he had in his 69 Z.

ok, sorry I missed that by ZLP. Now would that be a packing sticker? does the GM sticker on the box tell anything about the date?
