As others have said before me, I really don't know what to say either. News like this impacts so many, including the family and close friends.  So on behalf of all my fellow CRG friends, we wish you, and your family the very best.  You will be on the minds of many from this site.

I read the Illinois legal case against "the gmparts"  regarding the cross ram intakes, which he lost by the way.  He is still listing parts on e-bay and I'm sure he will continue, until people learn about his business ethics or lack there of, based on his e-bay transaction.

Thanks for the help.  Yep, a little pricey. For some reason I was thinking  they would have been the taller filter and not the short one...But I guess not..

Where is the best place to purchase replacement PF35 oil filter (the tall blue ones) for the first gen. Camaro's.  Or, is this not the correct replacement filter for my 69 Z/28.

General Discussion / Re: Carburator Restoration
« on: December 21, 2013, 02:36:09 PM »
Thanks guys, I'll do some research. I was told that All American Carbs (in Fla.) did quality but when I pulled up their website the refinish looked to be somewhat darker in the plating process than original, so I wanted a few more opinions before sending them south.. I live outside Raleigh, NC.

I would like to get my carburetors restored to a new factory looking finish. Can anyone make a good recommendation for a company that can turn this around in a timely manner, and do what they say they will do.

The parts look great when finished, so please don't take this the wrong way since I know nothing about this process. What keeps the parts from returning to the kind of rusted looking parts that are shown in step seven once the oil spray evaporates or dry's off..
