I have been given a challenge to see if I can find the where abouts of a 1969 Z/28 motor. Wow !!! What a challenge..With the knowledge of this site someone must know the where abouts of this motor...The motor was removed from the car many years ago. It could be stored in someones garage, in a car or even in the cast iron gave yard..A starting point would be that the car was originally from York Pa and the motor was removed while the car was still in the York PA area the best we know...If you know the where abouts of this motor from an 02D please chime in...

General Discussion / Will it Fit

Will a 1967 thru 69 Camaro fit in a 20' Haulmark enlosed trailer with a (PS) side door..I have a limited turn around area in my driveway and anything much bigger then this and  I want be able to turn it around to unload it or will my trunk be able to pull it...Its tight right now with my 20' open top trailer, but my little 63 Nova SS does not take up all that much of a foot print on the trialer....I'm gussing it will fit but would like a second opinion...

I went to see a guy today that has a 1969 Z28 Vin.# 12437N663446 with the following cowl tag info..
Trim 711
06B 
12437NOR357740
code 52-52

This is all the all the info I could find on the car without putting it on a lift. It looks like the motor as either been replaced or the block decked..The partial vin # and build dates are gone..

He bought this car from someone that had lived in Rockwell Texas..Anyone knowing anything about this car my friend would like to know...I looked at this car because we said he wanted sell it so I thought I would check it out...The body of the car looks to be in great shape and the paint is very nice as well, it would be a great car if anyone is looking.  This car would clean up very nicely and could be a daily driver.  He belives it to have a 3:73...The car is now painted a British Green (I think) with Black Interior which is in great shape..If you want his contact info just let me know...

I'm going to help a friend of mine try and find out the history behind his recently restored RS 1969 Z/28 camaro..We know the car was an original North Carolina car with about 44,000 (something) original miles and the first and last owners are no where to be found yet. 

I have asked to current owner to send me the vehicle vin # and I will start with NCDMV to see if that gets me anywhere,,,

I would appreciate guidance in the right directions to save some wasted effort since this guy lives 3 hours from me..Plus I would not do it he was not such a nice guy...I'm thinking these steps for now..
- First - Vehicle vin #
- Second - Car Tag Info.
- Third - Post car tag information on CRG..
- Fouth -
- Fifth -

Any thought or ideas would be appreciated.

What paint color for a 1969 Z/28 would you say sells the best,,,Dover White, Lemans Blue, Hugger Orange, w/White Strips. w/Black Stripes, Garnnet Red, Black, Yellow, Green, Rally Green, Burnish Brown, ect...?
