the tach in my car reads accurately but as you accelerate it fluctuates and flat lines the tach is new ,changed  to a new seperate harness did the same, is it the petronix ignition.

I believe the smog tubes on my vehicle are original gm the car was restored in 1994 is there anyway to tell,and who sells the most accurate repro.

I want to install a factory in dash tach there is a seperate tach harness available for about $25.00 I can't find a elec print showing where the wires run to has anyone done this install and can guide me Jack

Restoration / 1969 z28 trunk cardboard seperator

does anyone know if the rear trunk cardboard seperator behind the back seat if 2 differant ones where used mine is the original and looking from the trunk it has slots  cut in it allowing the view of the inners of the back seat springs, I looked at new ones and none have the slots

other than the speckle paint on the floor and sides  the exposed sheet metal behind the seat and the sheet metal on the upper part where the defroster and speaker would go was it bear metal or is it painted.

DOES ANYONE HAVE AN EXPLODED PICTURE OF THE VALVE I GOT A REBUILD KIT BUT MY VALVE HAS A FLAT RUBBER SEAL IN IT AND THE KIT CONTAINS A CUPPED RUBBER DISC

does anyone know what internal plastic speedo gear is to be used on the internal shaft I believe they come 6,7,8,9 tooth gears the external gear is green 24 tooth.Jack
