Bought my first car at age 15 a 67 4P Camaro in 1972. Sold it about 1977. Bought my second one in 1995 a 67 4K and still have it.

Ice,
Good luck on your search. I've been looking for one for 17 years at a decent price. Mine is probabaly the original one to my car and it has a small crack in the top but i consider myself lucky to have it. Back in the 90's HB City wanted $500.00 for one. The price for them has now gone through the roof. The repops look better than they did years past so if all else fails you may have to go that route. 1600 is a crazy price to pay.

The horn cap is an ad on. I removed the bumper things, the chrome was a little rough. Did all 67's come with those? Some things i've added to the car, some items i've removed. Wait till next spring, Cragar 15x4 skinnies out front 15x8 Cragar in rear, stinger hood, sun tach maybe a set of headers. Day Two sreet machine!!!

Simple solution, stop showing your car. Attend events such as MCACN, Forge Inv. and others. They don't jugde or give out awards. That gets rid of all the stress and BS envolved. Kick back, talk to people, enjoy the machines. Who cares if there is a few bugs in the grill.

Simply solution, don't show it!!! I stopped years ago. You can attend just don't get judged, lot more fun to talk to people and hang out.

Measured my belt and i come up with 34 and 7/8 inch. I'm measuring the outside dimension. So i must have the long one.

Thanks all,
Richard

It might be the belt made a little big but i'm afraid it would throw it soon as i started the engine. I saw the one Quanta had but i figured it would be the same, maybe not.

A while back i asked if anyone knew where i could get the center belt on my three groove cast crank pulley set up on my power steering 396/375. Ed B. said the 65 to 67 corvette 350 horse used that same set up. My kids got me one for my birthday from Corvette Central part# 30256 that is a repo of the old Chevy #3837810. Today i took on the job to install it and thought i'll just try to slip it on before i take all the fan and water pump assembly off and it went on the pulley with no effort at all. Much to loose, i'm guessing about an inch or so too long maybe a little more.
Ed do you think because i have the deep groove pulleys on my car that is making the difference. Did the Corvette 350 horse cars run the deep groove pulleys like my 375 horse engine? Help me on this one RSR.

Confused but not defeated,

I phosphated my hinges and related parts in 95 and they still look good. i apply with a small artist brush gun oil. It will attract dust which will build up but all i do is once and while wash the parts off with hot soapy water and reapply the gun oil. You can use any kind of light grade oil as long as it is clear. If you know someone that has a tig welder you can buy a piece of sheet stainless steel and make your own pan.

In 2005 i had my 67 l-78 engine rebuilt and my builder wouldn't even consider decking the block. First it didn't need it and i bet yours doesn't either. If your man says your block must be decked, get your engine loaded up and get out of there as soon as possible. Performance engine builders just don't get it about the numbers like we do. DON'T DECK THAT BLOCK!!!!

As you can see in interior shot my kick panels are the wrong color. Dummy me thought they were were suppose to be light blue when really dark blue is correct. I sprayed then with a dye. I want to get that dye off of them but don't know what to use to remove it. I certainly don't want to damage the plastic. Anyone know what will work to remove the dye?
