lol Dave I am beyond easy...  So your comment is silly..  But again to my point....  This sticker is not legally wrong..  And Chick I agree but you still have to understand what I am saying... I never said it was morally anything..  I have no dog in the fight so this will be my last comment in this thread..  I merely was trying to help by acknowledging the fact that the sticker isnt the problem..  Just like your sticker.  It says USA made.  The bigger issue is not the sticker itself..  Its the fact the made in Taiwan was covered up..
I would like to point out the on-line ad clearly states Made in the USA with part# BDY-1588. Legally ?? Really ??

I have heard many complaints about HBC, Having said that, I always supported them. I have never had a problem until now. I'm starting to think I was lucky.

You know, I have been a longtime supporter of HBC. 90% of my parts come from him. This kind of crap is just bad business.

That should be the pass side. And yes, shoes are incorrectly installed.  I was looking for the Parking brake levers which I believe are behind the adjusters.

Anyone have a pic or diagram of the parking brake levers installed on a 69 rear drum car ?  Mine are missing and I have nothing to go by. Thanks!

Terrible terrible news to hear this.  Thoughts and prayers to him and his family. These things are never easy, yet alone just before Christmas.

He might need a lawyer before it's all through. Don't let MVD near it or it will most likely be gone....Joe

He received all of his money back.  The seller apparently was fully aware of the situation.  Buyer beware, car is located in south New Jersey.

Well, clearly the VIN tag and the Trim Tag don't belong to that car (although the VIN tag and Trim Tag date line up with each other), so I would guess they were both removed from one car and placed on this car.

If your friend is looking for advise, mine would be for him to get his money back.

Ed

Thank you Ed!!!!  As I suspected.

Update: Cash returned. All is good.

Originality / Coil spring shim used to even out height ??
« on: March 16, 2015, 06:39:25 PM »
Anyone know for sure if shims for coil springs where used by GM engineers (typically one side) to even out a car that was leaning to one side ??  I heard shims were used but have not been able to confirm this.  I would think the shim would change the spring characteristics.
