Correct me if I'm wrong here but I thought the standard bore 302 was actually 301.74 which when bored .030 still made it legal for SCCA ruling of 5.0L. Maybe 5.0L is a little looser term than actual cubic inches...Joe

Painted around the emblem is good. Most people don't put the emblem back on. Mine has factory spoilers & when you pop the lid, it floats about 4 to 6". The rods on mine are 2 different sizes. The front spoiler was part of the package. There should be screw holes in the valance.
1969 with a short spoiler mean it has a 1968 spoiler on it or it's about 2" narrower that the back of the car....Joe

The previous owner & the currant owner have been on this site in the past. The car is another 02E 68 z/28 from Los Angeles. The vin is 124378L332229...Joe

Mine hasn't been converted. I've owned it 38 years & it still had factory paint on it. FireZ has a 02E LA car that has 302 badges. I've not seen him here in a while. I would be interested in his finish date. Because of his & 2 others, I've suspected the change happened during 02E production...Joe
