Every DG I've seen was a 14x6. I have one in the shop right now. Big vent holes. 1967 disc brake rally. I wonder if some got stamped incorrectly..Joe

8  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: 1969 mag wheel covers N96 on: July 08, 2014, 10:58:28 AM
I really thought I would get some sort of response back on this. In the Chevrolet parts catalog there were 2 different mag wheel covers shown for Camaro. 1st design, natural 1967 through 1972. 2nd design, flat black spokes 1969 to 1972. I'm thinking about using these covers with the XT wheels on my 69 but need more info, like could 1st design been 1967 till ? in 1969 & 2nd design went from there to 1972. A little confusing...Joe
9  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / 1969 deluxe seat foam on: July 07, 2014, 11:04:46 AM
Any opinions on seat foam for front seats? Who to use? Who not to use? Any thoughts on foam from Al Knoch? Thank you, Joe

You could try NAPA. It's been a few years since I've worked there but there were certain part numbers I used for my cars.
CS89 Points, Higher spring rate than the CS786
RR-175 Condenser
RR-167R rotor
RR165 dist cap, black
Dist to coil wires were LW but I don't remember the number
Try to find an employee that has many years or it's just like walking into Checker or Autozone

12  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Chicken or the Egg? on: July 02, 2014, 05:19:27 PM
If you're looking at a 68 or 69 ZRS it has a bold "Z/28" & in small block letters it says "rally sport" meaning Chevrolet wanted the Z/28 to be dominant not rally sport. On a SS/RS the SS was what Chevrolet wanted their car to be known as. No difference in badging at all. 2 more of my cents...Joe
13  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / 1969 mag wheel covers N96 on: July 02, 2014, 03:31:17 PM
Did the N96 mag wheel cover in 1969 have painted spokes? Thank, Joe
14  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Do You Still Have Your First Car? on: June 28, 2014, 09:35:31 AM
I don't have my first car which was a 1965 Chevelle SS327 4 spd. I do have my 1st Camaro & the last Camaro I ever purchased. I've had 16. Maybe we should ask who still has their 1st Camaro. The z/28 was my 1st Camaro...Joe
