I'm sure Kurt would've got his info from broadcast sheets or some other original document. I'm not trying to cause an argument. Just trying to get to the bottom of it so I can do the restoration on my car as close as possible to correct for the second time around ..Joe

The "AO" sticker I posted is attached to a 05A X22 car owned by the original owner until last year. The car was stored 30 years in an a/c enclosed garage with 3 car covers over it. Like I said it has 12k original miles. Look for it at MCACN in 2021...Joe

This is the "AO" sticker on my friend 12k original car. My guess is the sticker wasn't Camaro only...Joe

Anybody have a late enough car to still have a "EW" tire pressure sticker?  Maybe someone could post a picture? Thank you, Joe

The tire sticker depended only on the tire size. I don't know the differences between the 3 F70x14 labels.
DP - E78x14
DW - F70x14 (start-05A)
AO - F70x14 (05A-09D)
EW - F70x14 (08E-end)
DX - E70x15
Thanks for the info Kurt. Looks like I need to find an "EW"...Joe

Have you tried to get a copy of the MSO from MVD? Most times it doesn't work but I've heard some have had success. 1st assignment is on the back...Joe

I ordered one from ECS when I ordered my windshield. It's "DW". So if that is correct I will use it. I was confused by what a 12k original owner's car had on it. The one I ordered from ECS also appears to made on the "beer bottle" paper. Thanks all...Joe

I've done some research to determine that "DW" 3961733 should be the correct tire pressure decal for a 1969 SS Camaro. To throw a fly into the ointment a friends 05C 69 ss396 Camaro has "AO" sticker. Original to that car with only 12k original miles, un-restored. Can somebody please tell me what I should have for a 08/28/1969 built 69 ss396? Thank you, Joe

CHQ is Classic Headqurters, and often offer the better parts than other repro companies. http://www.classichq.com/

As long as we were talking about the attachment of the subframe and under body... anyone notice the flat spring steel push clip?
Most people leave these off because they either do not know about them or laziness in sourcing them the use of the flat "speednut" or push clip makes installing the rad support a  near effortless operation for one person.
Above Bushing was sourced from CHQ - They are the correct size although there are no markings on the sleeved bushings, I can't rememeber whether some of the GM marked bushings came from Rick's or if they were ones I had collected, I know that the later replacement rad support bushing is not the correct diameter, and the reproductions one typically sees are also not the correct diameter.

I can't seem to find CRQ, Camaro Head Quarters. Do you have a link to them?...Joe

Who makes the reproduction Good Year Wide Tread?  .. and what have people's experience been with them?  (I'm not talking about rolling on/off trailers and into/out of car show arenas...  ie. experience with real driving, mileage, and age?)
I have them on my 68 Z/28 & the ride is different. They tend to follow ruts in the road but it's manageable. Kelsey Tire is who makes them. Rusty Small (AKA SmallHurst) is your contact for tires. The tires are made at the old M&H Racemaster plant if I understood Rusty correctly. Here's Rusty's number  816-654-3400...Joe

My car was  built Aug 28th 1969. They only make 1Q69 & 3Q69. I bought 3Q69. I might've been more interested in 2Q69..Joe

In case you start looking for a used on that you can restore, here's what you're looking for. 4 row, 23". LH tank is marked "IL". RH tank is marked ""OM". If it's lucky enough to have the tag on it, it will say "UZ"

I've bought from US Radiator in the past also. They were pretty good & fit well....Joe

I wonder if Chevelle guys have this same discussion on 67 SS models?
Probably 66,67,68,& 69 Chevelles. Impalas had the same black out for a few years also. El Camino SS 68 & 69 at least...Joe
