Hi Joe,
your car sounds amazing with the Parchment(white) roof Yellow/Yellow

If it was equipped with a factory vinyl, there would've been a letter following the color code. B is black. Mine is 76E 714. Vinyl tops were an option....Joe

Interesting list. Some of those numbers were used in the 30s. It was used in part of the body serial number then, like 12AE or 6CC were the series of the car built at that plant.....Joe

In Joe's picture look like the front holes were use not the rears.
Since this isn't the 1st time my seats have been out, I don't know which holes it was in from the factory. It doesn't really matter as long as I can drive the car. (I was built a little lower to the ground :) ) I was just using what Ed had posted. I've had this car since 1981 & this restoration I was paying a little closer attention to things I've seen here. This is the cars 2nd restoration.....Joe

I compared the bolt holes in my 68 & 69. The 68 has 4 holes that line up with the forward holes on the 69. According to what Ed posted you would be moving the seat forward. This would indicate GM was using the rear set of bolt holes as the default mounting in 1969....Joe
