Maintenance / 1969 clock light bulb

Anybody have a trick for changing the bulb in the clock for a 69? Easiest way would've been when I had the dash pad off. Thank you, Joe

They go to the inside edge of the frame pod. There's a bracket they both go through N40 A9 is a fair picture but not great...Joe

Well, the surfer dudes who built my car must have been smoking something, because they put the wrong seat and decklid sticker on it too.  There are a couple of pretty experienced Camaro collectors who know the car.  I am not saying that somewhere along the way someone didn't swap some things out.  But it would come as quite a surprise to me, considering the car's history.
You should post some pictures for us....Joe

Thanks X66 for that link, great discussion there. I walked away with the knowledge that some original GM had the groove, some didn't per examples of guys with original untouched cars. I love this site! Thanks a lot.
You're welcome....Joe

General Discussion / Power steering pitman arm nut
« on: June 16, 2021, 08:15:35 PM »
Owning a late 1969 Camaro you relize several things don't fit into "normal".

Aquired a 227 pitman arm from another box today. The box I took the arm from is dated 121 9 & the socket size was 1-5/16

My box is dated 011839 & the socket size is 1-9/32

Anybody else run into this?

Thank you, Hoe

Yes; a few 'C' prefix 396/402 engines were used in production starting late August '69.
Thanks William. That's where my car is, Aug 28,1969. Hawk X66 has one also...Joe
