Not the original owner, but my 11B LOS has black nylon that I would be surprised if not original.  Bought it unrestored back in the mid 1980s.

Heartbeat City sells repop gray spiral shocks, about $100 each.  No idea if the other vendors sell these as well.

Here's an old thread on rebuilding

These are both claimed survivor SS cars, so just shots of the rear.  The gold was a mid-year NOR, Jan-Mar time frame

The extract of the title had me thinking a little, 'body style: Tudor' - until I realised it meant '2-door'.

Maybe he had a Ford Model T on his mind, they used the Tudor term for two door sedans.  No idea if the intent was a play on words or what.  Or could just be a spell check error.

Pulled out the bottles I bought several years ago and the label reads Owens Group, LLC, d/b/a Palmetto Enterprises, 12 Lovalley Way, Taylors, SC 29687, 864-907-4751.  No website as far as I know.

FWIW, it's found in the 68 AIM under UPC C60, Sheet C9.  Not real obvious when you look at the C60 Contents page

Looking at the 67 AIM, UPC 0 Sheet C1 Miscellaneous Shipping List, it shows just one part number 7792010 Booklet-Fldg Top Instr.  Would they have been using older/other stock p/n 4228124 in the early cars, or that page of the AIM later revised?  But the booklet indicates the 1967 model year, so you wouldn't think there would be any old stock to use up first.  And I don't see anything indicated down in the bottom right revisions box.

Just wondering, were there different versions for power versus manual top, or was everything covered in one pamphlet?

With that interior you could take a trip and never roll out the driveway.  :o

The date code would be just below the two holes where the manifold fitting connects.  It may even be covered by the manifold.  It would take a flashlight, inspection mirror, and contortionist skill to try and read it if mounted on the car.

Is that a 67 style oil canister/element painted white that I'm seeing?  Must be a really early 69 block.

The front speaker is 4" x 10". Factory speaker resistance is 10 ohms.  If using your original GM radio, make sure your replacement speaker is 10 ohms.  If using current model radios, a 4 ohm speaker will be needed.  The factory A/C cars use a smaller speaker thickness, usually resulting in a shallower depth magnet which equals less power handling capabilities.

Steve

I don't see a separate speaker listed for A/C cars in the AIM under UPCs C60 or the U series.  Where did you see a thinner speaker was used?

I had posted up a copy of that paper strip here years ago.  Was with a NOS set I bought long ago.  I can probably dig is out again if you need it.
