J 4 8 ..... I believe that's November 4th, 1968. If not accurate, someone will correct me.

For cast date codes, "I" was used for September, so his "J" would be October:

Any more info on where this is located, or on the seller?  Just wanted to add info to the post, in case someone is searching for it.  Thanks.

Looks like Carolina Blue was a 69 Chevelle color:

Colorado Blue was shown as a 1930 Pontiac then 1985 Mazda color

Old license plate frames occasionally show up on eBay, of varying condition and some have crazy prices.  Whenever I'm on the site, I search for my car's dealership in Sacramento.

No idea if it's the same dealership chain, but there's a Jay Chevrolet Oldsmobile Boonville NY currently listed.  The style looks like it would from the 1960s, and might give an idea of what you'd be looking for. NFI.

Time to dip into the 401k or take out a loan

or AM/FM - no photo, I've no idea if the cable is any different from the AM style

Not the 3903402 light assembly listed in the 67 AIM, but this is the 987028 shown in the late 1966 P&A for all Chevrolet models, and possibly exclusive for that year.

So it appears the 67 AIM illustration for cars with hood insulation - Sheet A2 - with the wiring shown on top of the insulation and using two of the insulation plastic clips to hold the excess wiring, was not followed. Also the metal wiring clip at the light is in a different location - bracket versus the bulb shield. It will be interesting to see if there was any difference between NOR and LOS cars.

If you want them, I can post up a couple good photos from an old eBay auction, of a NOS over the counter 987028, which is listed in the August 1966 P&A Catalog for Camaro, and all other Chevrolet models.  It has the single mounting hole, stepped bracket, and long wiring.  I've no idea what the difference is, if any, between it and the 3903402 "Lamp Assembly" listed in the AIM.

HBC and Ricks (and likely others) list reproduction seatbelt labels, if you ever need to go that route.  I have no idea of the correctness, quality, or if it's a "one size fits all" label.

I think the first reply of "I dont think so" might have been for your original question of "Does this seem too late for the car?".

Originality / Re: ENGINE LIFT HOOKS
« on: October 02, 2023, 10:36:13 PM »
Hi all - a little bit of a hijack regarding this post - but similar topic. I have a 1967 L30M20 (LOS 11A) with a complete and functioning AIR system to include the steel breather pipe on the rear of the intake. It’s positioned right over the bolt where the rear lift bracket mounts. A standard unit does not seem to fit. Was there a special bracket for the AIR cars? Thanks.

Here's a link to an old thread:
http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=1578.msg78979#msg78979

I seem to recall someone saying for model year 1967 the lift hooks were removed and a cradle was used at the assembly plants to move the engine through the dress process and to mate it to the subframe.  So your hooks would have been removed at some point prior to install of the AIR components.  This must have been in a forum thread, as I didn't see this mentioned in John Hinckley's assembly process article.

General Discussion / Re: 67 RS/SS w/AC blower motor wire

At the top of C60 E2 sheet in the AIM, at center under item #4 TAPE, there is a note B to coil and tape a production blower motor wire, to the harness.  Is that the wire you are looking at?
