The photo details of your horn relay aren't great however from what I can see it appears the case is bright zinc or even polished. I can't see if it has the correct stamping however here is what it should look like.
Edgemontvillage was referring to the engine orange on the head surface between the valve cover and intake manifold... ie. the upper part of the machined surface for intake gasket... which normally would not get painted on such an engine (with aluminum manifold and aluminum valve covers)..
Hans did you paint the intake and thermostat housing?
My thoughts are early cars are phosphated and later cars are painted.Grey phosphated looks way better/but not as durable.Plus paint/powder coating hides rust pits ect.. Powder coating doesn't belong anywhere on a 69 Camaro. All powder coating is a cheap cover up.
Looks like a nice car but check out sellers feedback.
