Make sure there is power to the switch on the emergency brake with the key on and the plunger in the compressed position.  When the brake is pushed in the switch should open up and ground out and turn the light on.
I fixed mine the switch was bad and the plunger clip was missing in action. I tested the switch it by running making sure it had power then by running a temporary ground test wire from the switch wire to the body.

Hope this helps.

Maintenance / Re: 1967 Camaro horn relay

Great!

Thanks, one less item to repair.  Just realized the wiring diagram in my AIM has wiring for 67, 68, and 69  models. I've been reviewing the 69 model which shows the key buzzer wire to the horn relay. LOL My original relay did not have the connection for the wire, confused me?  My BAd.

Maintenance / 1967 Camaro horn relay
« on: July 21, 2018, 01:51:11 PM »
I am attempting to get everything working on my 67 as it should. Question is did all 67s come with a key buzzer. My horn relay has no wire for it and I can’t find one in the wiring harness?

I owned two 68s before and they both had the buzzer.

Thanks in advance. This site has helped me tremendously!

After more research I may have to just replace the single power steering pump pulley with a double.

Mild Modifications / Installing Vintage Air
« on: June 14, 2018, 07:50:32 PM »
While prepping for my new Ac unit I noticed that I am going to have an issue, the rack and pinion steering pump that was added is on the second crank pulley. If I move it to the third groove it will not work, the alternator belt will be hitting the pump big time.

Question does anyone make a three groove short water pump pulley? I have searched and found none for the short water pump. Maybe another year etc will solve my issue.  This way I could put the AC on that pulley and solve my issue?

Any suggestions 67 sac short water pump.

Mild Modifications / Radiator for vintage air? Stock or aluminum?
« on: May 31, 2018, 01:35:57 AM »
I am ordering Vintage Air for my new toy, 67 with 327 upgraded a little. The car is currently running a bit hot now, I know the stock radiator needs cleaned out. Will the stock 21 inch radiator be able to handle the new AC unit? Or should I change it to a 3 core alluminum.
The car  is not 100% original the last owner added rack and pinion steering along with a new modern distrubuter.

I plan to drive the car about 3,000 miles per year.

General Discussion / Re: Dash light issue

Update after searching old posts on this site another member had the same issue. His brake lights and tail lights would also not work? Turns out the brake, turn and dash lights all are connected to the same fuse, the bottom one in the block. I checked and had no tail lights or brake lights working also. I checked the fuse it looked good but replaced it any way Shazam now it all works!
Another of my 21 things to fix taken care of! Slowly getting my new toy working as designed.

None of the lights work but the signal and idiot lights. So I’m thinking switch? It has the part that sets the dash light brightness, it may be bad? I will test it this week while dash is out.
