Make sure you do not have a bad brake booster or pcv valve by crimping the lines

HI code is for 1968 1969 Camaros so it would not be a 70. My car is 11D 68 and it was in the trunk so if its 9 of 68 probably the original spare

Decoding/Numbers / CE engine code with assy date

This engine was taken out of a 68 Z over 20 years ago. This is a service dated 1969 engine but has a ssy date with a MO code on it. I was wondering if any one has ever seen a CE engine with a assy date and code?

454 and 427 blocks are the same. If its a 427 it will have either a 7115 crank or a 6223 crank. If its a 454 it will have a 7416 crank.

There was also a seal on top off the core support the dimples on top of the support is where the seal mounts. The later small block Nova A/C suit cases would be the same as a 69 big block the only difference they are brown instead of a black grey texture
