« on: September 26, 2016, 01:38:26 AM »
I would like to put a fresh set of spark plugs in my 1969 Z28, it has the original 302 in it , what would you guys recommend using? I drive the car around on weekends and don't really need a set of n.o.s. plugs in it.

General Discussion / 1969 Muncie M21
« on: August 02, 2016, 11:37:26 PM »
What fluid would you guys recommend to use in my Muncie M21 Transmission ? I've had the trans rebuilt (twice) and after both rebuilds I am having the same shifting issues ( upshifting from 2nd to 3rd ). I'm thinking I might have the wrong fluid in it which is casing the hard shifting problems.

When did they start using bolts ( instead of using nuts ) to attach shifter rod levers on a 1969 Muncie transmission ? The transmission is a 660 main case and has a 306 side cover.

Restoration / YH rims
« on: January 26, 2015, 12:52:11 AM »
I'm restoring some YH rims and have a concern about the area where the sides of the tire meet the edge's of the steel rim. The area is pitted and I'm not sure if this will seal properly. If rims are pitted can't tire shops use a sealer for just this situation ?

Originality / 1969 camaro Z28 Shifter rods
« on: January 13, 2015, 11:04:27 PM »
I recently took out my shifter rods and noticed  my levers were stamped 5615 on both rods. I looked up those numbers and they were installed on 1970-72 Camaro Z28,s .My Z28 is a early September built car. Would it be possible that the 5615 rods and levers were used on my car since it was such a late built car ?

General Discussion / 1969 camaro windshield washer pump
« on: October 23, 2014, 12:09:52 AM »
After years of not having a working windshield washer pump (my piston seal was worn out) I finally got it working again ! iI wanted to rebuild my original pump and there is no one that sells a complete rebuild kit for this pump, the only rebuildalbe part that is sold is the tri-port o-ring seal. I ended up buying an Anco pump from RockAuto ($30.88), took apart the pump, removed the new piston and used it in my original pump. My pump works like brand new !
