I believe it was casted in May, so your car's build date is probably July.

1969 - Orphans / Late 1969 DZ Short Block V0929DZ (Sept 29, 1969)

Trying to reunite this original short block with the car. The block still retains the original standard piston and there is no ridge, so it can possibly remain standard bore.

I have a 67 Camaro and it also came without rear belts. However, the holes are there and are seal with factory chalk. Dave

Were there differences depending on where they were used, i.e. gas vs. brake?
I also started researching this today for I'm getting original clips ready for my 67 and found that they are either phosphate or an olive green. I found both finished and I'm wondering if one is for the fuel and one is for the brake even though they are the same clip. Any help would be appreciated. Thanxs Dave

The problem appears to be the black bracket. It arches wrong and doesn't follow the contour and or bend of the orange bracket. At the very end of the both brackets to the right of the alt bolt the brackets should be uniform. Yours don't line up even.
Here is a picture of Chick's 68 Z28 as a reference. Maybe he can provide a better detailed picture.
Just an FYI also the alternator is incorrect and appears to be a later one with the finned or ribbed back, which has the built in regulator.

Chick,
I my opinion your 361 bushing is correct and has the washer style collar on top that all bushing come with to assist the thin floor board. It 's also required to aid in holding the lower cushion in place.
I believe sometime in July of 68 the lower cushion was replaced with a #720 cushion vs the #802 cushion. I don't know what your car currently has installed but because I think your car is a June or July build date if you have the 802 it would also be correct. So, with that said I say your car has no issues.
I have never seen a 361 or any of the other Camaro bushings ever missing the top flat washer collar, but it can be removed. I don't know if the factory worker assembled them or if the were ready to use when the subframe was installed.
