Both the 67 (4spd., 14" tire. 4:10) and the 68 Z28 (4spd., 15" tire, 4:56) would have used the same adapter. Part #6476735 with a gear ratio of .8235.

I have a 67 Z28 with factory 488 gears and it has an adapter. If my memory serves me correctly I believe its also 6476735 and my car has the 15x6 / 15" tires

Do you have any pics of his shifter body / date. I've been trying to keep tabs on the shifters and I believe they are dated, but some guys don't think so.

Can you please advise which hardware is original to your car. Post 171 shows your bolts as "E" for the three smaller bolts and "TR" for the long crank bolt. However, post 411 & 412 are showing the smaller bolts as "RBW" and the longer bolt as "W"? I'm into original hardware and both headmarking are correct.

Are they 14x7 YJ Coded Rims? If they are the four outer clips are incorrect.

Why do you think that?  and what do you think is correct?

For an unknown reason the YJ Rims came with the many fingers just like the later YH Trim Ring Rim Style.  I have researched it some and have come to the conclusion (in my opinion) that the four outer clips were not used on the YJ.  However, I'm not 100 percent sure like I am with the Oil Fitting on the 69 Z28.

I have two original 346 Master Cylinders with the "WT" stamping. None have a Julian Date Code.

- The first MC has the backwards casted 346 part number and it has the SAE J1703 Lid

- The second one has the normal casted part number and has the same lid pictured above.

I'm assuming the backward 346 MC with the J1703 lid is for a verly late 68 Z28

No 1st-Gen Camaro had EGR, but the L-78 had a clip for the PCV hose that mounted under the right front carb nut.

K 1 9  2 @ 26 YH is the ONLY wheel made that is correct for NO March wheels were made. Good luck finding them for the are very EXPENSIVE if found. Dave

His post on TC was sorta confusing as to which one he believed to be correct; his first photo was the one with the 'internally threaded' compression fitting and the last two photos he posted showed an externally threaded compression fitting.  
Steve:  You're saying that you agree with Dave that his 'first photo' shows the correct 'internally threaded' compression fitting?

I'm sorry that my post / pictures on TC #1 confused you with my verbage or which one I believed to be correct. The correct fitting is the one I posted with both male ends and all those pictures are of the same fitting with and without the oil line cap screwed on.  What I was trying to say or write should have read:  There has been some discussion reference the original oil line brass fitting. The one that keeps being discussed with the female end that is believed to be correct, but isn't is usally seen on early 60's vehicle.  All the oil line fitting that I have seen on a 69 Z28 is the one that I have pictured. Even my L48 Z11 Car has this fitting also and it original to the car. Maybe both styles were used, but I never seen that fitting used and a 69 Camaro Gauge Package Car".
