i just put the windows back in and they seem to be ok. when they are all the way up they appear.ok i do not have  the chrome and mouldings on the windsheild yet but  when i push down on the front of the top above the windsheild as if it were attached there is a 1 and a half in gap from the top of the rear windows to the rag top.    does that explain it or am i sounding like a nut bar?

Restoration / Re: 67 vent window frames
« on: June 04, 2010, 09:05:11 PM »
hey all    i am restoring my vent windows and frames and have most everything set to go xcept i cannot remember how to put the spring and washers onto the vent window adjuster pin at the bottm of the vent window.  i thought i had it right but i cannot get the vent window to snug up so that when you open it when driving the wind does not blow it closed. so i need to know how the washers and nut go on to snug it up. anyone know where i can find a blow up of the vent window and frame including the adjuster pin, washers and nut.  Please help. it is now june and i would like to drive the car asap as it could snow here in alberta by september. we have a short hobby car driving season. thanks jimbo

i have received a repop set of rs rocker mouldings for my 67 rag. they are 3 pieces per side. but is there also a long slim piece that goes along the bottom of the rocker panel below these pieces?

General Discussion / Re: Trunk lid identification needed
« on: February 19, 2010, 03:53:58 AM »
i bought what i thought was a 67 repop trunk lid,but it does not fit right. it appears to be a little narrower than the one on the car. what gives?  is it just a poor off shore product or is it a 68 or 69 hood? is there an easy way to tell 67 from 68/69?? thanks

« on: January 30, 2010, 12:55:17 AM »
after battling with my vent windows i was able to dismantle them for restoration on my own. does anyone know where i can get a complete set of originals in x shape, ( no pitting) or a new set of repops.classic industries shows a set of repops but they are back ordered and they have no idea when they may be ready.
thanks  jimbo
