General Discussion / Package Tray Paint

Please help me make sure I have everything correct before paint. 

Suede paint on top of the dash and all the area trim around the package tray.

Lower front dash where glove box is all this gets Satin finish.

Is there anywhere I am missing?      Is this paint scheme correct?

OK    I 'm  at my wits end. I have searched several places and can't get a definite answer if there is one. What color paint is used on leaf springs that is close to the original color? I know they weren't painted from the factory.  What do the pros use on a 1000 point car? Other than send them and have'em heat treated.  Sorry for the rant but it's getting to me. Is it a trade secret nobody wants to give up? Hell if they charge for it, tell me and I will pay.

The last 2 times I logged on Norton caught and blocked  an attack. Something is attached somewhere. It's not my computer as I clean every day and this is the only site where I get the attack.

I have lost my starter bolts.  Do I use bolts in all 3 holes to mount the starter?  Is the short bolts all the same or is this short bolt different?

Decoding/Numbers / 14 X 6 JK wheels

These wheels have 14x6 JK stmaped inside the wheel and NX 4  9 stamped beside the valve stem.  All I need to know is if they will fit a 69 disc brake car.

What does the JK wheel code fit?  The NX4 is stamped by the valve stem.  Will they fit  a 69 disc brake car?

Originality / '69 L 48 Radiator 3 Core Tag

My radiator tag is rusted so bad I can't read it. It is also a 3 core radiator. It does not have A/C. I read in the CRG reports that sometimes a different size radiator was used if there might have been a shortage or something. I am going to replace the radiator and I was wondering what tag would have been on it. It has the CB and IH tanks.

I found this in my trunk. I know it's a jack hook but I've never saw one with this bracket rivited to it. What kind of bumper does it work on? What purpose is this bracket? It's got 69 Camaro stamped on the front part of the hook so I know it's not from another car.

General Discussion / replacement distributor for 1111488 for L48

Ok guys I have given up finding a 1111488 distributor for my '69 L48.  I need some help as to what distributor would be the best replacement for the original. I want to put it back standard point type for the look but I don't know which one would be best.

I found what looks like an air cleaner (breather) for my L48. The lid is chrome and has a rubber o-ring type seal in it.  Is this correct?  I can't remember a lid having an o-ring seal in it.

Restoration / Bowtie Sticker on Valve cover

Did the valve cover on '69 L48 have a Bowtie sticker on it.  I have searched with no luck but I seem to remember a Silver with Red  Bowtie sticker on left valve cover. Can someone help me out with this?
