Yes I see what you mean Marty. I know making a decision on what part to use can drive you crazy sometimes. We all have our standards, and the more I read on this site the more my standards goes up.

Marty,  Were there no 843's made in Nov. (L) ? The "K" you have pictured is a Oct. build if I'm correct.

You might want to contact Jerry M. No one has more information on the 480 distributors than him. He helped me identify a good date code for my car.

Well obviously mine is my cars license plate. Right after I got my car in the mid seventy I came across a tee shirt with a 69 z28 on it. It was one of those cartoon prints with the big tires and flames coming out of the headers. I loved that shirt. Well the license plate on that car was HOT302. I thought that would be cool if I could get that plate for my car. Well after about 3 or 4 trips to the DMV I got it. And I still have it today.

Yes and there's that "Caution Fan" sticker. It seems we just can't get away from those.

It does seem that way. And not just the restoration of parts. Even some of the old used parts. It's funny, you'll see parts that were common on a lot of different Camaros but when there listed for sale the heading will say"Z28", "SS", "COPO", "Yenko. And the price they want will show it. That's where knowledge comes in. And I'm thankful for CRG, they gives me that knowledge.

I know the diverter valves and the mufflers weren't dated but you could get some kind of time line with the pump they were installed on. Jeff, Is there any way you could post a pic of one of those NOS "Wire Units" you have?

Thanks Kurt, Great information. That makes sense since the wire and weld jobs all look some what the same.
