What a waste not having that collection open to the public.

Since the numbers were reset is it possible that 2 tags (one early and one late) could have the same number?

Is this a Nov.68 tag or a Nov.69? The body number seems too low for a Nov. 69. but it has the D80 code. Another fake ?  :'(

Be interesting to see if you walked in there if they would continue to try to pass it off as an original.

Keep me updated on that Danny. I'd be interested to see what he says. Maybe he was just feeding me a line of BS. You would think a guy with a business like his would do a little research before buying a car like that. It's getting to the point you don't know who to trust any more.

I was in touch with Greg Nelson and he said he just became aware of the history on the car Wednesday. He's not very happy and is trying to get Hendricks to take the car back. Hopefully he can work something out.

Originality / Re: 69 RS brake lenses

I was thinking that depending on where and when your car was built maybe there were different suppliers, and lens text might have been different.

Welcome to the forum Kees. Not sure how many of those cars are still out there or what there worth but I would sure like to see a pic of it if you could post one. Sounds like you have a great car there.

Fred, What is the build date of your car? Is it a Van Nuys or Norwood car?

I know where your coming from Jimmy. I get so tired of seeing ad's that state: Numbers Matching, Numbers Correct, Correct Drive-train, Date Coded Drive-train. Everyone tries to put there spin on it.

Hi Jon, That was a great write up in the June 2012 issue "Muscle Car Review". Some great photos too of the early cars. Hopefully down the road somewhere one of these "Stormer" cars will surface. Keep up the great work.

Rick
