I got in touch with the guy selling the car. He stated the block had to have the number 7 cylinder re sleeved and during the process the block was decked and the motor builder re stamped it.

Does anybody know Larry Christensen? From the article it seems like he’s been around the Camaro world for quite a long time. I would think someone on this site would some insight on this car.

I’m down in San Diego. Back in the early 80’s I was joining every car club I came across. Love re reading those old magazines. They have some great articles and pictures.

I checked and I don’t have that issue.Did come across a set of Fast Class magazines from the National Muscle Car Association and a dozen or so Super Chevy magazines from the early 80’s.

Could it have anything to do with the car being a (Special Paint). What color is / was the car? I’m just taking a stab in the dark.
