The Defrost tube, when in place does not have a even spacing between the two. One end, on the back side, on both left and right side seems to have almost twice the spacing. Anybody else have the same?
There seems to bee no mods and I am almost sure it is orig.

Kevinw,
Is the satin black the correct restore finish in black for the console? Having to refinish mine while I have it out and it looks to have a semi gloss look.....but can not find it in a plastic or fusion paint.

Any body know of a good source for all the seals for the A/C 69 cars. Need from defrost vents down. Can find nothing on the upper defrost tube to dash seals.
Also looking for the missing spring on the fresh air door RS.

OK, These are some of the threads that I thought I had seen before. The picture on the 1st thread and some of the comments on the driver side-front bracket don't seem to match descriptions, or am I loosing it.
Picture seems to show the bracket in the front manifold bolt hole, but in two of these threads it states that it is in the 2nd?Huh

I have in the past run onto discussions on the correct brackets for the 69SS L48's. I can not seem to locate much reference to them now.
I think in one, there was a mention by Jerry that the double bolt bracket being sold for the front was incorrect.
My motor only has one on it at this time and it is a single with the letter K. This, and correct me if I"m wrong is the correct rear Bracket. What is the the correct front one? How would one describe the front one and is it lettered?

Was preparing a D & R order and noticed that they had orange engine enamel paint in SPRUCE Seymour 98-48. Does anybody know if this is the same as Seymour EN-48?

Does anybody have any pics of 69 350/300 SS engine compartments that would show all the proper brackets and locations mounting ect. At the point of installing intake back on block and attempting to place all brackets back where they should go.

What are you calling the return port? The one on the fuel filter or the tube standing up on top of the qjet.   The one that comes out of the carb is a Bowl vent over the float assy. This should not be sealed.
