139  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: 4P L30/M20 on: February 11, 2014, 02:32:39 PM
My little research has found a number of references to the 67's 4p or SS with either the L48 or L30.?
140  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / 4P L30/M20 on: February 11, 2014, 02:07:33 PM
Does anybody know the production numbers on 67  SS with the L30/M20 option instead of the L48?

I heard that the 4bl Q-jet had a perking problem that this helped to correct.
The needle/set/float could not hold the pressure and would flood or overfill
The vent relieved the pressures especially when hot.

I always thought or understood if it had a 4bl q-jet it had 2
Lines. L48s and BB. All only in the SS's.  ??

Does anybody care to tell me proper installation sequence on 4sp shifter boot with no console.

The only twist to this that would make any sense is that if he was referring to the trim tag
showing a 396, but had a 350 that matched the vin tag. But if that was case with 1630 it would be common knowledge

The owner of the 67
149  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: Big block / small block on: September 11, 2013, 03:41:25 PM
Unless I missed something the vin only reflects 8 or 6. The trim might but say 4k but?

Does this hold water? I have never heard this.
It's a 1967 early RS/SS that has a 350 V8 tag but VIN says has 396/375HP. In early 1966 they made 1630 of these and stamped them 350 V8. This is one of them.
They said value from 40,000-50,000 way sits since restored to factory and rotisseried
