What are the correct GM pn belts for a Norwood 69 L48
With auto, power steering, air  no a.i.r.?
And or Dimensions for cross reference.

Maintenance / 67 U17 gauge cluster/clock

My 67 U17 cluster package has a 4wire black socket that was laying out of place .
Think it plugs into lower center of pod cluster.
What is this?

General Discussion / Trunk or counter?

I am looking for a thread that involved what I thought was a old GM Employee clearing up the old wife's tale of the crossram and the headers for the Z's. I thought there was even a letter or memo that was also posted to verify the fact that they were all over counter orders and not sent in a trunk of new car if the option was ordered.
Can anybody help me here?

Restoration / Headliner bows

Was removing rear glass and noticed that the rear headliner bow didn't seem right. It was not arched up quite as much as others. I haven't dealt with headliner issues to date so kinda in the dark.
Seems as if the others are in a clip at center? Should the rear be also. Looked at a kit that shows 5 bows and 4 clips so not sure.

What size ribbon seal so I need? Lot of 3/8 listed but have also read that 5/16 is what's needed for trim to set right.

Maintenance / Power steering issues

Have issues with lost power assist after car warms up. Power steering will work fine most of the time till engine compartment is warm. I'll pull in a lot and at low or revved rm cannot gain assist back. Belt is tight and fluid ok. The relief seems to bypass a little quicker than most to me. Would check pressure but not sure what is is suppose to be. Any suggestions?

Have found a deck lid with what seems to be a stamp of VM2 in the correct location. This I am told is of a 4th wk May 69 build. Does this sound right? code has me thrown with the 2 letters.

Originality / Tailpipes

What were the different configurations to the tailpipes on different models and years?
My 69 L48 has stainless tips parallel to ground straight out under rear valance. Was this done any other year? On anything other than SS or Z2?

Maintenance / 67 Air Conditioning

Just starting to look into loss of a/c compressor power on my 67. Looking at the diagrams, I see that this system uses a vacuum switch or two with electrical. I looked over the basics and all is there and doing as should, fan speeds and vent/lever positions etc.
While attempting to get to the rear of the controls in dash, I was checking function again and all at once the clutch clicked in and all seem to be ok. In moved all the controls back and forth, fan switch high and low, system off and then back on and all worked fine. BUT, started the engine and clutch kicked in and all started out ok and then.....the clutch dropped out and never come back on. And as of now I have yet to be able to make it do so.
Guys I am in the refrigeration business and installed/repaired many auto systems, but never run into the vac switches on one. Going to start the elimination method but know somebody on here has to have hit this problem in the past. And as far as mods....this is a original system with no alterations.
Any ideas or suggestions on a starting point? Please? Help?

Wanting to change my 69 L48/TH350 air car to a 700R4 . Running a 3:08 rear on stock 14" wheels and tires.

Maintenance / A/C fan clutch

Anybody have a suggestion on replacement fan clutch for
A 69 L48 with A/C? Mine is starting to run hot when on highway for a steady run.
Has a little bit of a tendency act a little similar without air if it's for a extended time.
Just not quite as bad.

Would like to start a thread on the factory K30 systems. There are a few of us that
are attempting to gather info starting with the factory installed systems in 66
and the changes in the dealer and factory installed systems and more. Please chime in and add anything you might have to benefit us on this subject.
