16  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / 1968 RS grill emblem finish on: May 24, 2014, 03:09:09 PM
Putting 68 back together and notice the grill emblem has some wear, I can't tell if the background behind the RS is black or wrinkled black or no finish at all, emblem number is 3899892. If painted what  sheen? Chrome and brushed finish are in good shape. Thanks Darrell

Produce a picture and end the discussion I cannot believe you owned something 40 years with no picture. This thread has gone to long with no outside proof from you. Move on the car is beautiful in any color. Darrell
22  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: Just bought a 68 SS and need help on: March 12, 2013, 01:52:07 PM
As Everett stated not by the VIN sounds like a nice car, good luck, starting off with an SS is always a good start. Darrell
23  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: Yellow Z/28 on eBay, Cowl Tag real? on: December 31, 2012, 03:16:24 PM
On the outside it looks like a December build with a January Tag I don't know if that lines up in the 2 to 3 week category I just know it doesn't line up with what I am used to seeing. I guess I always thought the tag came before the serial number. JMO Darrell
24  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Looking for a car in the database on: December 24, 2012, 02:50:03 PM
I was wondering if the VIN 124379N631259 is in the database I am looking to purchase and I am looking for whatever I can find on the car as there is no documentation on it and the original motor is long gone. Thanks for your time on this, Darrell
25  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: building a garage on: December 20, 2012, 10:52:24 PM
4000 psi concrete would be the most appropriate for the floor slab, 3000 psi is plenty for the footings. Also make sure you use a high reach garage door where ever you are going to install a lift, also you will want to use a sideloader garage door opener so make sure the electrical is on the side that you want the opener. Insulate all you can afford it will be the cheapest part of your construction costs. Your plans look good, have fun with the construction. Darrell

28  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: 1967 Camaro L30/M20 on: November 28, 2012, 02:21:31 PM
I will let one of the older members chime in but to my knowledge the 10 bolt did not have the right side traction bar at least the L30 M20 that I owned that was all original did not. thanks Darrell
29  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: Camaro Z28 Cowl Tag... Real? on: November 22, 2012, 10:30:22 AM
Could it not still have been ordered with a rear antenae, therefore the rear spoiler would have been deleted but I do not know if the front spoiler would mean it still would have been a d80 designation? Just thinking outloud, thanks Darrell
30  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Official CRG Cap and T-shirt? on: November 20, 2012, 12:40:51 PM
