Hi. Question for all. I have a 11D 69 that had a 8J 515 voltage reg on it. could that possibly be the original or is that just to early to be possible? Or given the fact that electrical parts went bad all the time was it probably a junkyard replacement.

Thanks all. And thanks for the link Kurt. Final Conclusion is ... Fake... The welds are real nice but the grain is alot like the second pick, and the spokes are dark spotty like that too. However no cracks so i will probably use it. Seams real skinny to grip though. The hub is what had me going that's  orig GM.

Originality / '69 fold down rear seat
« on: July 28, 2010, 06:47:19 AM »
I need the screws that hold the fold down rear seat back frame to the upholstery frame. I can't find any information on finish and size of the screws.  The seat is at the upholstery shop so I can't get a look at what size I need. Can anyone help me out?  Thanks, Ron :-\

If this helps,I have an 11d car. VIN comes up 189 cars AFTER November's end of the month VIN. I asked a local Corvette restoration shop about this very question. They told me that 11d was the last week. That the 1st & 2nd were the last week of Oct. I then wondered if Corvette was labeled in the same guide lines. Sorry for the late reply, I don't get on here very often.
