Thanks guys. Although not near as purdy as yours, mine looks like yours also Hans. I've seen a few other 12 bolts like that as well. My rear end was like yours Rich, unmolested. Mine had never been out of my car and has all original gears, brake hardware etc. Are both of yours late 69 builds by any chance.
Sgt Hawk my car is later 09C

What is the length of the 11- shouldered cover plate bolts ? Thanks, Ed

Ed they are usually 1/2" to maybe 5/8" I havent measured but theyre short

I recently bought a 69 12 bolt that was a survivor -complete -still had date codes on brake adjuster levers and that cover bolt had a captured washer bolt for the brake line bracket I assumed was correct- rest of cover bolts did not
I know John is the man in the know ... any others out here?

5605 is the wiper motor it was special to RS cars - not the pump - the only real difference was it had the holes for the RS solenoid Steve mentioned above

most of the parts are avail reproduction does your car still have the wiper motor that ends with 605 on it? is solenoid missing from it? the correct wiper motor is the $$ expensive part IMO, if you have that then just get what what you need most Camaro venders have the parts

I would not base worth off of what Heart beat city charges. They charge a ton, and not 100% the right parts being sent out, or description is off.

Do some research on eBay, for closed auctions. When you see multiple listings for the items selling that should be a good indicator.

Good luck.

thats absolutely! right but may not find many completed auctions as the real deal is rare to find

I had the original carb sent to be restored on a 72 455 H/O trans am and somewhere it its past the frt mounting bolts were tightened too much and warped the top and main body beyond repair :( it was visable when you looked but I didnt till after was returned they replaced the main body and it did run alot better afterwards dropped .5 in the 1/8. I always wondered how you could do that? 72 was the last year for factory aluminum manifolds I would of thought threads would of pulled before that happened
