Maintenance / Brakes dont quite feel right
« on: July 05, 2009, 03:34:48 AM »
Almost there......
brakes do work but you have to push the brake pedal hard-
Do I need to bleed them several times in order to get them to feel right?

Thanks in advance

Maintenance / 1969 Camaro idle problem
« on: June 27, 2009, 11:50:25 PM »
Okay now that the brakes are done Im having an issue with the idle-Ive adjusted the idle as far down as it will go -so I thought it was a distributer adjustment-however when i adjusted the dist counter clockwise it advanced the idle-Im told  that if I turn the dist counter clockwise its supposed to retard it? Is the Dist off 180 degrees?

Maintenance / Proper brake bleeding procedure for 69 Camaro
« on: June 21, 2009, 08:22:21 PM »
Hi
I am wondering what the proper brake bleeding procedure is for a 69 Camaro with front disc and rear drums-power booster and MC with bleeders?

Thank you

Maintenance / 1969 Brake issues
« on: June 21, 2009, 02:19:12 AM »
Greetings-
I am having some issues with my brakes.
I installed new brake lines-Master Cylinder-Booster-Proportioning valve-metering block, attempted to bleed the brakes and the pedal is permanently in the up position, no movement at all?
I bench bled the MC and am unsure where to go from here?

Any suggestions?

Charles
