I personally like the way the car looks! If you decide to sell it , let the new buyer spend the money. After all the money you spend youll only get what you put in it.Why deal with the hassle? Have some fun with that machine!! Grin

I have been in the hobby for over 40 years. I love cars!   Early on, only the  corvette guys were concerned about matching numbers. Today, if you have a "Matching Numbers Car", you are either Very Lucky, Wealthy, or Old Enough!  Now people say "My car was born with".  Things have gotten out of hand.  Really, isn't a car a collection of parts, put together on an assembly, to be sold for ones personal transportation!
I agree with you things have gotten out of hand. The "born with" quotes are kind of annoying,I can only speak for myslf but my car was BUILT not born!

Glad to see worthy causes such as this for Veterans & please dont get me wrong ,but I dont understand WHY these  Vets are not FULLY taken care till the end of thier lives by the FEDERAL GOV. They are the ones who protect our freedoms not these JACKASS politicans!! Angry I feel better now.

Ed,I bought one a couple of years ago.The radio seems fine & sound is ok! What seemed cheesy was when I turn the tuning dial the indicator seems to jump back & forth a little. The radio weights practically nothing & comes with MP3,IPOD,CD,or XM "satellite" inputs. Not a bad radio but $600.00 is a little steep.Overall I give it a 7.I believe their built in Palm Harbor,Florida.

43  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Buying & selling old camaros on: April 12, 2012, 07:04:52 PM
A friend of mine bought a 69 camaro a few days ago"a retired man who buys & sells old  chevys & parts.A few days ago he bought a 69 camaro, nothing really special, deluxe interior needed work ,seats ripped, dash warped badly ect.12 bolt"not posi"small block greasy, dity broken alt. bracket, painted 3 or 4 times ect.But it did run.The whole car in my mind was adverage at best.He paid 12,500.Sold for 15,500 And a guy wanted to give him 18,000 but he had already promised it to someone. love 69 camaros but are these cars in that "state" really worth that much$$?Maybe because Ive owned one for 36 yrs & I have mine, but I really dont understand this car to me was about 5000 all day long!
