2  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: 68 camaro 7 blade fan 3931002 on: December 30, 2014, 10:51:33 PM
Just looked up 3931002 in my 1969 part's book it list this fan blade for 68 Camaro s/b w/ac w/o 396. The plot thickens! Also any body 6 blade fan that is identical to the 302 & 396 blade.

4  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / 67-9 Fuel lines on: November 20, 2014, 11:18:55 PM
My 68 L35 clip just like mike s fuel line as far as back fuel line clip. Our 68 small block car has bolt with clamp. Also noticed bb car curves down to motor mount with clip like Steve's bb car great pictures guy's!  Would take picture on L35 but ac box in way to get good picture.

Tire sticker looks good for SS car f70-14. All 68 big block cars had only one fuel line. Now for a neat trick look at page 283 in 68 assembly manual look at number 3 on page. Big block fuel line were held in place by clip which line snapped in held on by a rivet. Small block cars were held on by clamp which was held buy a bolt.  Would post a picture but never been able do. Cook is dead on the stripe. Have known his dad's car since 1980 great original paint car. Maybe somebody can post the picture for you from the manual. Good luck!

I agree I would have NCRS double check your car. Microfiche are hard to read sometimes. They were dead on to my car's MSO & date codes on car. Did not run other car because have protecto plate & build sheet to car!

11  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: May 1968 trim tag irregularities on: September 13, 2014, 06:32:15 PM
There is a problem with may & june production number # because may numbers show twice as many build as any other month on Norwood cars. Have a 06a car with that starts with 449---. Have a one owner 06b car that starts with 453---.

I looked up in1969 parts book 3923194 is for big block cars only it like what came on my 396 car. The parts book say's the lower muffler 3925797 is for all 68 Camaro's except 396. I have one of a 68 327 Camaro that looks like the bottom muffler that I took of a car years ago do not know the date code off that car since it was a parts car. Hope this helps.
15  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Stripe delete on: June 12, 2014, 12:39:30 AM
I just looked on this groups site went to numbers decode then special paint link there is nothing about black tail panel delete! But does talk about stripe delete being special paint car and talks about -codes where paint code should be. Also talked to the original again since this started he said again car was stripe delete but had black tail panel. Cant wait to get finished and put the top done and go for a ride
