396/375hp timing cover# is 3935444. Read in Jerry's book 396/375 & 427 took same balancer so I would think timing covers would be the same. Hope this helps.

My 68 convertible has a -1 were paint code is. Original owner hate stripe so he special order car stripe delete. Have only seen one other car this way it to was a stripe delete car .

Just looked up 3931002 in my 1969 part's book it list this fan blade for 68 Camaro s/b w/ac w/o 396. The plot thickens! Also any body 6 blade fan that is identical to the 302 & 396 blade.

My 68 L35 clip just like mike s fuel line as far as back fuel line clip. Our 68 small block car has bolt with clamp. Also noticed bb car curves down to motor mount with clip like Steve's bb car great pictures guy's!  Would take picture on L35 but ac box in way to get good picture.

Tire sticker looks good for SS car f70-14. All 68 big block cars had only one fuel line. Now for a neat trick look at page 283 in 68 assembly manual look at number 3 on page. Big block fuel line were held in place by clip which line snapped in held on by a rivet. Small block cars were held on by clamp which was held buy a bolt.  Would post a picture but never been able do. Cook is dead on the stripe. Have known his dad's car since 1980 great original paint car. Maybe somebody can post the picture for you from the manual. Good luck!

Just checked our one owner 327 car motor has never been out of car it is black. Also checked a 327 & 302 blocks have had for year's both are also black. Hope this helps.

I agree I would have NCRS double check your car. Microfiche are hard to read sometimes. They were dead on to my car's MSO & date codes on car. Did not run other car because have protecto plate & build sheet to car!

GM part # for your pinion seal is 3924031 it is still available. Just checked online at work. Some parts guy's just lazy to look up. Hope this helps!

There is a problem with may & june production number # because may numbers show twice as many build as any other month on Norwood cars. Have a 06a car with that starts with 449---. Have a one owner 06b car that starts with 453---.
