136  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Where there two different shift Indicator Plates for 1967? on: March 09, 2011, 10:26:06 PM
Just wondering, were there two different shift indicator plates used in 1967 for automatic transmissions?  The white letters plate (PRND321) came off my console which had a powerglide (previous owner blew the trans and put in a 700R4).  The greenish one (PRN321) came off a console I bought off ebay.  Why the difference?

Just got a set of these off ebay and want to clean them up a bit.  Anyone know what color or colors are original for the painted parts of the hubcaps?  Thanks in advance...

140  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Is a 67's rear seat shelf suppose to be vinyl on top? on: June 03, 2010, 07:58:46 PM
Just bought a reproduction rear shelf from CI which has vinyl on the topside.  The one I have on now is just a black cardboard/fiberboard type of material, no vinyl.  Anyone know which is correct?  My car was built in Jan if that matters...

so then the grills are what they would have installed.  Thanks for the replies.

142  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / What did the factory use: speaker grills or mesh shelf tray for rear speakers? on: May 30, 2010, 11:54:34 PM
Hello all,

Just wondering what they did on a 67, did the factory use speaker grills or a mesh shelf tray for the cars that had the optional rear speakers in the rear shelf tray?  Thanks in advance...
143  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Were kick panel speakers an option for a 67? on: April 10, 2010, 07:15:21 PM
Just trying to see if the speakers in my kick panel could have been a factory option for my 1967.  My car is the AM radio with rear antenna option.

If so, were there any differences in the kick panels, or did they just cut holes for the speakers?  I have deluxe interior if that matters.

Lastly, could a car have had a dash speaker, kick panel speakers, and rear shelf speakers?

144  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Carolina Blue 1969 Camaro on: April 05, 2010, 05:27:24 PM
It's rare paint. It is worth more with the correct color. Why not paint it Caroline Blue?

You can change it to LeMans blue or ? but lots of Camaro junkies will want to burn you at the stake. Wink

Yeah, dont change it.  Keep it original
145  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Research Topics & Reports / Re: 1967 Camaro radius rod research on: April 03, 2010, 10:33:46 AM
I am trying to verify if this is the original differential.  I snapped some quick pictures and tried to get some numbers

Build Date: 01C
No radius rod since I have had it
I will PM you my VIN
I have the POP only.  Havent found a build sheet (have not looked too hard yet).
QL01116 (Q looks like an O)

Anyone know if powder manufacturers make colors that matches/resembles original factory colors?
147  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Which 4MV quadrajet??? on: March 21, 2010, 09:53:34 PM
I have a 67 350/295 with A.I.R.  Which quadrajet 4MV would I need if my car was built in January.

7037202   DH  (early)
7037212           (mid)

148  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / What date of Powerglide would I need? on: March 05, 2010, 07:26:10 PM
I am in the process of looking for a powerglide, so what date would I need for my 67 350 SS/RS?  My goal is to make it a numbers matching if that is possible.

What number/s would I need to match off of?  Cowl, POP, Body, engine, etc???

Thanks in advance.
