2  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Mild Modifications / Wiring Harness under hood? on: September 09, 2011, 01:13:11 PM
Hi,

I will swap small block to big block in my 69 Camaro.
Is there any problem to replace the wiring harness under the hood, I'm thinking of the connection to the firewall?
Is it just to change the harness, plug and play?

4  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Exhaust Manifolds #879 #178 on: September 04, 2011, 02:13:23 PM
Hi,

Does anyone have experience of Exhaust Manifolds 3909879/3916178 for Big Blocks,
those who are newly manufactured and sold by Tamraz or GM Restoration Parts?
Are they good enough to have on a 427/425hp?

5  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: L48'S WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE on: August 07, 2011, 08:34:02 AM
Hi,

This is what I know about my car:
Arrived to Sweden 1976.
Has stood still in my garage since 2005.
Dusk Blue with Dark Blue Standard interior.
Manual transmission, 12bolt posi.

ST69       12467    NOR320547
TR  715                51A
05A                      X55

VIN: 124679N642402
Engine: 3932388   L14 8, T0506HA.

The plans now are to convert it to a BigBlock, has a 427 that I like to try.
Saves all that belongs to the car, in case I change my mind.

7  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Re: Sealant between the heater box and the firewall? on: July 21, 2011, 11:10:19 AM
Thanks,

That was where I meant, in the engine compartment.
Any suggestions for products that are available today?

9  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Decals and stickers on Air Cleaners? on: June 29, 2011, 05:49:17 AM
Hi,

Have an Air Cleaner #6423907 for my Camaro -69.

A question about decals and stickers on the air cleaner.

Were it decals on the cars from the beginning-from factory, or is it something that is "invented" lately?
For example, those with 427 with flags, turbo 427/425hp and so on.
 Is it an aftermarket stuff?

Nice work to be from a Swede Shocked, right?
11  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: Air Cleaner 427/425hp L72? on: May 06, 2011, 08:24:20 AM
Thanks John

And I know very well that there was no original 427 Convertibles.
My intention is to make it look like if it was "original mounted" at this time,
as it could have looked like.

Okay guys.
Let me clarify my intentions.

I have a 427/425hp engine from a COPO Camaro.

I'll mount it in my -69 Camaro SS Conv.
It is an original SS350 L48, but now I want to put in my 427 instead.
The car has an SS hood.
So what I want help with, is to know which air cleaner should I have?

Very observant, to see that it is not a original Wink
13  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Air Cleaner 427/425hp L72? on: May 04, 2011, 01:23:44 PM
How should a proper air cleaner look like on a 427/425hp L72?
It is in a -69 Camaro, not a Cowl Induction hood.

And where can I find an accurate reproduction?

Thanks,
GUS

Sorry if I be unclear,
but I mean such holes drilled, not the holes for the heater and stuff.

There are always extra holes drilled or cut-outs after all these years.
I want to have it like it should be.
