Originality / 68 Heat Stove Finish

What is the correct factory finish for  68 327 Heat Stove? Typically most are finished in the color as the exaust manifolds.I do not think this correct becuase the the manifolds were castings and the heat stove were stamped steel.Also the heat stove tube was painted black.
I attached a pic of my engine with heat stove installed.

If it is any help there is a company In Atlanta Ga. called ECO-CLEAN that does chemical dipping.

We ran across Trammel  Rhodes out for a cruise in his all original 1969 Z28.He Followed us back to Lawson Chevrolet
In Jasper Georgia for this cool Photo Op.
And you read it right he followed us back.

The original A/C compressor on my 68 RS has the part number 6550133.
I have not had any luck with finding the correct decal for  68 compressor.
