Maybe this has been posted before.  If it has, sorry, I have not seen it before, at least not in this entirety.  And some of you may have never seen it.

Interesting to see DS1 (replies # 23 & #32) picture of a 67 11D NOR that shows the square upper control arm shim bar that doesn't look like the traditional dog bone.
My 05B has that same shape bar too though the 04B LOS has the dog bone shape. I know there was some speculation as to if that was a replacement but it's looking more like two shape bars were used.
Mike

There has been discussion here of many 67 Camaros having mis-matched (1 0f each) Control Arm shafts.

Mooney,  pic. #5 in that last group of pics., you need to read this; (Mystery part)
http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=8653.0
that part is quite often left out when quarter panels are repaced.

Yep, I know what it is, and to put it back on, it wasn't doing much, it has a HUGE gap to the quarter, and is welded to the 'gutter'

side view, and I didnt chip anything out, its just hanging in the breeze

That article that I posted link to states what you need to use to fill in the gap.

Originality / Re: 67 windsheild wiper motor
« on: February 04, 2015, 12:37:34 AM »
My 5045508 Wiper motor on my 11A LOS appears to be the original, and appears to be in original condition (not repaint) it has some light surface rust in the Rochester NY stamp.  It has no Date code stamp of any kind.

General Discussion / '69 302 Longblock on EBay
« on: February 02, 2015, 08:36:01 PM »
My brother sent  me this link to a '69  302 longblock on EBay.  Maybe someone here is interested.  Listing states the partial Vin. is by the Oil filter.  If this should be posted elsewhere(orphans?), feel free to do so.  Sorry about that, the link from my brothers e-mail didn't work.  So here' a good one;

Welcome Alex, nice car. Looks like it could be 350, would be nice to see the engine stamp pad.  Assuming it's an automatic car?  Console or column shifted?  Looks like Black interior.  We like pictures, keep us posted.

Here's a pic. out 67 A.I.M, N34.  I'm told this page is missing in the 68 A.I.M.  You will need to pull the Hub (#1) in the pic. with a puller.  You may be able to borrow a puller at Auto Zone or similar Auto parts place.  Hope this helps.

I agree with using a puller, I have pulled many over the years.  And I agree with the Chilton repair manual suggestion, I have an older edition 6735 only covers 67 up to 79, but it has what I need.  Also the internet can be very helpful through Google search, a lot of times I'll print it out and save it.(with my repair manuals)  Below find a diagram of a Grant wheel. I think the N34 wheel has a very similar mount.  You should be able to turn the horn button an inch or so one way or the other and it will get to a spot where it will pop right off.

General Discussion / Re: Anyone here heard of this car? Pandemonium
« on: January 26, 2015, 08:53:18 PM »
Yah.  I saw a post of this car on Facebook, so I googled it.  And yes, you are right, in earlier years the Pandemonium cars were Mopars.  As I said above, I followed Drag Racing when I was younger, and I liked the "Funny Cars" when they still resembled a real car.  The new "Funnies" resemble something from outer space.  I even like some of the Pro Mods today, in particular "Arnie the Farmer" Beswick, I don't live far from his hometown.  And I attend the Wheelstanding Championships, they take place only 30 miles from where I live.
