I would replace the flasher... they're very inexpensive.
212  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Maintenance / Re: 69 Headlamp Problem on: November 17, 2008, 07:15:46 AM
Most likely it's the headlight dimmer switch on the floor.
Those things are notorious for going bad.
213  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Any opinions on repro window moldings? on: November 13, 2008, 07:18:18 AM
I would post this on the Team Camaro site... http://www.camaros.net/forums/
You are more likely to get an answer there.

0 ohms is an empty tank and 90 ohms is a full tankl
215  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Maintenance / Question about Chrome Trim around tail lights on a 69... on: October 06, 2008, 12:02:44 PM
It looks like the previous owner of my 69 Camaro (non-RS) used black RTV to attach the chrome trim around the tail lights, and now it's starting to come off.
What type of glue should be used for this??
I don't want it coming off while I'm driving and losing any pieces.

Thanks
Fred

My buddy made a bracket to utilize a Heineken can.

That's classic Smiley
But hey, whatever works.
218  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: What do you use for a Coolant Recovery Tank? on: August 12, 2008, 11:22:54 AM
That's not a bad idea.... it has the OEM look to it.
Thanks.
219  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / What do you use for a Coolant Recovery Tank? on: August 12, 2008, 06:19:05 AM
Just curious...
I would like to add a Coolant Recovery Tank to my 69 Camaro and since these cars did not come with them,
I'm trying to figure out what will fit.

No antiques... unless they are car related.

Music is a must... usually have DJ's around here.
221  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Re: Sand blast or acid dip? on: July 24, 2008, 06:08:01 AM
I agree with Sauron327..... E-coat is also a dipping process and will cover the bare metal inside the frame....
so acid-dip if you iintend to E-coat.

224  Site Comments / Discussion / Site Comments/Discussion / Moderators: Question for you. on: July 10, 2008, 04:31:08 PM
I picked up a 69 Camaro in April 2008.... and have been trying to get history/info on it.
I would like to add it to your database, or if it's already there maybe you could tell me
something about it.

Do you need any info other than the VIN?
225  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Does this site maintain a database of 69 Camaro's/VIN's??? on: July 10, 2008, 11:47:48 AM
