The VIN was the first thing I noticed, too. Lots of stuff wrong with this one.  Nice looking car, but it sure isn't what they want you to believe it is.

Not sure, but it I can't think of anything internal to the engine it could be. What's it made of?

Thanks! It's one of those dreaded clones, but I'm not hiding it. Definitely fun to putt around in.

Great pictures, Darrell! I drove the Camaro to the in laws Sunday for Thanksgiving. I'll continue to drive it until they treat the roads this winter, then it will be tucked away in the garage until the roads are good and washed off next spring.

Cool find, but you've got your work cut out for you. I vote to keep the 3 on the tree. Don't have to worry about many people taking it for an unauthorized joy ride.

Hate to hear this... especially for someone as valuable to our hobby as John is. Get well soon, John!

Count the number of teeth on the ring gear and divide it by the number of teeth on the pinion gear. That will tell you exactly what gear ratio you have.

Pretty neat to have two cars so close together. The car built two before mine was on eBay years ago. Figured that was as close to mine as I'd ever see.

Beautiful car, Roy!  Pretty rare to find an unrestored car these days.... especially one as nice as yours. Congratulations!
