General Discussion / 68 Z/28 with Headers and A.I.R.
« on: March 01, 2018, 06:56:17 PM »
I was reading the 1968 Z/28 road test in the June 1968 Road & Track Magazine. This picture got my attention. I have never seen a Z/28 with headers and A.I.R. The article says that the headers were from the "dealers list" and installed by Bill THomas Race Cars.

This Camaro is scheduled to be sold at the Mecum Auction on Friday Sept 6th in Dallas. I was curious if it was as good as it sounds and if it is in the data base.

I'm trying to find the part number for a 1968 Camaro horn. I have a Delco Remy horn with part number 9001121 and the letter H in a circle. Is this the correct one for a 1968 Camaro?

General Discussion / The Great Camaro
« on: July 03, 2009, 04:18:47 PM »
I have a book titled The Great Camaro. It is by Michael Lamm. It goes in to detail, the design and production of the Camaro, starting in 1964 with the Super Nova. It has lots of pictures, drawings and clay models of the Camaro. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this book.

I have been trying to find a place on the internet to put pictures and information on my Camaro. I have a facebook page with pictures and little of history of my Camaro. I would like to find a better place but I don't know if I want to do my own web page. Does anyone have any suggestions. My facebook page is: 1968 Camaro RS Z28.

Decoding/Numbers / Date codes vs build dates.
« on: July 15, 2008, 09:49:30 PM »
My 1968 Z28 has a 12E build date. Is an August 10, 1967 alternator too early for my car? This has probably been discussed here before, but I couldn't find anything by searching.
Thanks,
Larry
