Originality / lights and motor wiring
« on: August 29, 2008, 12:31:41 PM »
hi all.

I where some problem with the front lights on my 67 convertible RS ( i find the problem now)
during the investigations , i have notice a parts of wiring that didn't appear in the book.
it's a 10 inches wire that start at the back of the fusebox (in the engine compartment) and connected at the other side to the connector that on the differents books i have seen, normaly connected to the back of the fusebox ..i don't know if i'm clear....

this wire just prolongate the one that run from the lights to the connector at the back of the fuse box.
that's seem to be original because the color of the diffrents wires are correct .
do someone notice that before
( my car have power windows, power top)

thanks

the french owner..... ;)

you can find what U need inthe
67 69 camaro rally sport headlights and wiring diagram ( 7$)
look on the Classic industries catalog p 343 ref L83
you can download the catalog in PDF format at www.classicindustries.com

130
for a 67 camaro , i don't know some "small case with " rally sport" "( it's avalaible for 68 and later)
you have some "RS "(only these 2 letters) located on the:
grille
fenders
and on the gas cap

and that's all!!

you can also find the catalog classic industries at http://www.classicindustries.com/
and page 288 you'll find a picture of all you need
there are a lot of differences between year and model ( look at the right one RS with 327 ...) (template p 303)

131
you can find a template for these locations .
classic industries had this , bur it's another factory who make the template ( sorry i don't remenber the name)
